Το 10ο Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Animation Αθήνας (Athens ANIMFEST) πραγματοποιείται από 26 Μαρτίου έως 1η Απριλίου 2015 στην Ταινιοθήκη της Ελλάδος, στην Αλκυονίδα New Star Art Cinema και στο Ρομάντσο. Το φετινό επετειακό πρόγραμμα περιλαμβάνει προβολές, διαγωνισμούς, αφιερώματα και εικαστικές δράσεις.

Τιμητικό αφιέρωμα στον πρωτεργάτη πολλαπλών πρωτοποριακών εγχειρημάτων και έργων, τόσο στα πεδία της καλλιτεχνικής πρακτικής, όσο και της θεωρητικής αναζήτησης, με έμφαση στις τεχνικές της animation και τη μίξη ετερογενών στοιχείων, δια των οποίων αναδύεται μια ολοκληρωμένη ars combinatoria.
Για την εξόχως πειραματική ταινία ΒΙΟ-ΓΡΑΦΙΑ (που φέτος συμπληρώνονται 40 χρόνια από την κυκλοφορία της) θα μιλήσουν ο Θεωρητικός Τέχνης, Κωνσταντίνος Βασιλείου, και ο ίδιος ο σκηνοθέτης που θα μας θυμίσει χαρακτηριστικές στιγμές από την ιδιότυπη κατασκευή της ταινίας.
– Την ίδια μέρα θα προβληθεί και η ταινία του «Ηλεκτρικός Άγγελος»

β. Παναγιώτης Ράππας

Τιμητικό αφιέρωμα στον Έλληνα animator, σεναριογράφο και παραγωγό με τη διεθνή καριέρα. Θα προβληθεί το -μέχρι στιγμής- έργο του, που υλοποιήθηκε στην Ελλάδα, ενώ ο ίδιος θα αναφερθεί στην ατομική και συλλογική πορεία του στον χώρο της τέχνης των κινούμενων σχεδίων.

Οι ταινίες:

Η παρούσα ανθολογία Πολωνικών ταινιών κινούμενων σχεδίων «! Ο PLA – Πέρα από τα Σύνορα», είναι ένα εξαιρετικό πρόγραμμα, που περιλαμβάνει τους νικητές του Πολωνικού Φεστιβάλ Animation O PLA! 2014.

Ο συγκεκριμένος πολιτιστικός θεσμός είναι πλήρως ανεξάρτητος, και η δεύτερη δράση του πραγματοποιήθηκε σε 44 πόλεις της Πολωνίας, από τον Μάρτιο έως τον Ιουνίου 2014, όπου κριτής των ταινιών ήταν αποκλειστικά και μόνο το ίδιο το κοινό!

4. Εικαστική έκθεση “Anima Mundi”

Discussions of animation often involve concepts of metamorphosis, anthropomorphism, transmogrification, fantasy, mimesis , the polymorphous perversity of bodies, its oddness and absurdity. Cartoon animation has an amorphous, elastic quality that allows forms the freedom to move and change–ordinary objects transform magically, movement is synchronized to music, and inanimate objects become humanized. Metamorphosis was a founding concept of animation, beginning with early French animator Emile Cohl, and is commonly used for fantastic or comic effect. Likewise, transmogrification is one of the advantages of working in animation rather than in live action. Animated figures are not grounded in actual physicality–they transform at the whim of the animator. [18]
